Girlpool returns with their first single since their last album, Before the World Was Big. Classic girl band duo singing about life passing them by. This time, they finally add percussion.

 

3. “Animal” by Wavves

Nathan Williams has been busy with getting a new house, his ghost ramp project, and managing day to day organizations of Wavves. Fortunately, the pop punk group delivers with classic material from familiar territories.

 

4. “Sick Bug” by Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever

You all know my take on RBCF. These guys are great and they released great material in March on their brand new EP.

 

5. “Two Arrows” by Real Estate

The gang is back together on their new LP. Classic Martin Courtney songwriting and instrumentation radiate throughout this track. Easy listening guitar and beach vibes, incredible.

 

6. “Come to Me Now” by Kevin Morby

Morby’s new song has haunting echo reverb and natural instrumentation that illustrates a cold and chilly valley. He is pretty good at that, however, if you don’t believe me just check out his most recent album.

After 22 years without making music, shoegaze legends Slowdive bridge the gap from their long hiatus with smooth vibes and recognizable flavors. Their new single proves that big things are to come.
